
MISSION & GOALS
The mission of CGH is to strive to make a positive difference in the lives of economically disadvantaged job seeking men by providing interview-appropriate clothing, motivation, and follow-up support that helps them obtain and retain a job.
CGH exists to fill a gap that social service/job training programs are faced with once they have prepared their clients for the job search process, i.e., something appropriate to wear on a job interview.
The client does not have a ‘level playing field’ with other candidates during the job interview, because he does not have the appropriate attire.
Our commitment underscores every aspect of our mission whereby we function as a collaborative with over 25 social service agencies who are striving to address the employment issues of men in and around the Houston area.
These issues include the life-changing devastation of surviving a major natural catastrophe such as hurricanes Katrina, Rita and Wilma
